An “event” is something we have planned and that often occurs on an annual, monthly, or other periodic basis. This page provides a quick overview of the types of events and when they are generally scheduled. Specific dates and times may be found by referring to the lodge EVENTS & NEWS, or CALENDAR pagex and the lodge bulletin.
Stated meetings are held every month except July and August on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:30 PM at the lodge building. A dinner is served at 6:30 PM prior to many of the stated meetings. Reservations and a fee may be required. Most of the dinners and programs are open to ladies, widows, family and other guests. Dress code in Pennsylvania for meetings is coat and tie. Masonic visitors are very welcome. You must be a MASTER MASON to attend a stated meeting. Contact the SECRETARY and arrive at least 20 minutes early if you are visiting for the first time and/or you are unsure if there is a member present who can vouch for you.
Extra meetings are scheduled on Tuesdays following stated meetings on an “as required” basis for the conferring of degrees. Dress code and visitor guidelines are the same as for stated meetings. Extra meetings begin at 7:00 PM.
Exceptional degree work and conduct of the business of the lodge takes PRACTICE! Our officers meet the first Thursday of the month and Tuesdays following the stated meeting when no extra meeting or district school is scheduled. Rehearsals begin at 7:00 PM.
MASONIC MENTORING (MASONIC EDUCATION)
Masonic education is required for those progressing through the degrees and for those recently made Master Masons. Recommenders are strongly encouraged to attend with their candidates. Education is also available for all Master Masons on the procedures to visit another lodge, ritualistic work, Masonic history and symbolism or any other topic of Masonic interest. Masonic mentoring is conducted on the fourth Tuesday of every month when the lodge is meeting at 7:00 PM at the lodge.
