Lowther Manor Lodge is the ONLY lodge in the state of Pennsylvania to sponsor both an academic and a vocational scholarship program.
The ACADEMIC scholarship assists students who have chosen to pursue a bachelors degree in any field. The VOCATIONAL/TECHNICAL scholarship assists students currently enrolled in a vocational program who are pursuing a technical degree or certification. Both of these scholarship programs provide multiple $1000 minimum grants to students meeting the eligibility requirements depending on the availability of funds.

ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS
GRANT AMOUNT/S: $1000 minimum - one-time award.

NUMBER OF GRANTS: One or more.

ELIGIBILITY: Applicants must be U.S. citizens or have permanent residency status and reside within the Camp Hill, Cumberland Valley, East Pennsboro, Mechanicsburg, Northern, Susquenita or West Shore school districts and are enrolled or planning to enroll in a 4-year program leading to a bachelor’s degree.

APPLICATION PROCESS: The awarding of scholarship grants is competitive based on educational achievement (GPA & admission test scores), activities, honors, financial need and an interview. Detailed eligibility information and application forms may be found by contacting your guidance counselor’s office or in the 2024 Academic Scholarship Notice & Procedures. Applications must be postmarked by April 8th, 2024 using the application form (link below.)

GRANTS ARE PRESENTED: At an appropriate awards program at the selectee’s high school. The scholarship amount will be paid directly to the Accredited Higher Learning Institution under the Name/Student Account Number provided by the successful applicant/s.
TRADE (VO-TECH) SCHOLARSHIPS
GRANT AMOUNT/S: $1000 minimum - one-time award.

NUMBER OF GRANTS: One or more.

ELIGIBILITY: Graduating senior enrolled in the Cumberland Perry Area Vocational Technical School who Is planning to attend a technical school to receive a Technical Degree or Certification, preferably in the automotive field. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or have permanent residency status.

APPLICATION PROCESS: Not applicable. Candidates are nominated by the Cumberland Perry Vo-Tech administration. Final selection is made by the Lowther Manor Lodge Trades Scholarship Committee. Students desiring consideration should make their desire known to the Vo-Tech administration.

GRANTS ARE PRESENTED: At an appropriate Cumberland Perry Vo-Tech awards program. Grants are sent directly to the awardees vocational technical institution to be credited to the awardees’ account.
